It was an cool afternoon when we started to our Venue SLS High School and we reached around 1p.m there. We had a great welcome by the school administration, we thank for them for that and we where shown the hall where the 9th and 10th Students gathered. They thought we were professors and started wishing "Good Afternoon Sir!!!!" which reminded back us our school days.
The event kick starts with a question, "Can any one tell us the top3 browsers currently???" many answers and the students with correct answers were given Firefox stickers and badges. Later after few questions, we divided the girls and boys put our laptops ready to teach them how the web works and lot more..... Here we goooo we had a great start with the introduction to HTML and its tags. We encouraged students to code the HTML tags and design what they like.
After our two hour event, we got a good feedback from the students and later a group chat with the principle of the school after completion of Maker Party.
I thank Srikar bro for sharing tips and how to go about in events when your are doing it for kids and we thank Santhosh for ordering the swag and giving us in any time we need.
